Hello Everyone!
The Week has been good so far,

Lots of sunshine, and a quilt work of fall colors. It has been a truly magnificent journey so far. I have walked places, never seen, more than I have in a long time, and have seen sights, I have passed so often, I wonder how I have missed them in the past.

The sunrise was absolutely amazing this morning. If you have never slept alone in the woods, and awoken before the sun, with crisp autumn air about you, nipping at your nose, the sound of water in your ears, star's high above you in the sky, you need to.

This is how I woke this morning, buried under woolen blankets, nose red, gazing up at the sky. I had watched the moon rise above the distant mountains the night before, Huge and red. and this morning, it was high in the sky, a small dot compared to its rising. I watched the early sky, until I had to get up to stretch and meet the day. Noticing Doobie, was not in his customary spot on my legs, I wondered if he was freezing someplace, but he had made a nest of blankets in his riding spot, and was quite toasty. He was not as eager as I to meet the sun, and slept in another four hours after I let him back in his spot.  He missed a beautiful sunrise.

I saw a moose this morning, albeit under less than Ideal situations near the top of a mountain, as I crossed through it's peaks. Although It has snowed here,  none remains at present. The yellow leaves spin in cyclones as they gather in clumps. A truly inspiring time of year.

I hope all of you are enjoying the season, as Winter blows her warnings from the northlands.

Ummm sounds so cozy and pleasant ....... chilled nose and all!
The sweet crisp smell of Fall drawls you in doesn't it?
Causing you to go a little farther down a path and stay a bit longer...... just linger.
The way the leaves slide around on the slightest breeze is mesmerizing.
Thank you for sharing your quite moments
Forever Yours, RoseBean
